What Alternative Payments does
The platform covers the money coming in and the numbers behind it. Accounts Payable, for the money going out, is coming soon. Alti works across all of it.
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Receivable automates invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Invoices sync from the business's PSA/Service Delivery software or accounting software and go out automatically.
- Auto-Pay charges clients with a payment method on file on the schedule the business sets.
- Automated reminders go out before, on, and after the due date.
- Clients pay by ACH bank transfer, credit card, or installment plan through a portal with the business's logo and colors.
- Installment payments let clients pay over time while the business receives the full invoice amount upfront.
- Where the law allows, surcharging passes card processing fees to clients.
- Collections Assist is a service that engages a Collections Agency on your behalf to drive enhanced collection rates for success fees.
- Payments post and reconcile to the connected accounting software automatically.
- Faster payout options are available as add-ons.
Analytics
Analytics shows profitability by client, team utilization, and cash flow in one dashboard. It pulls data from ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, QuickBooks Online, and Alternative Payments' own payment data, so no one has to export and combine spreadsheets.
Alti (Financial AI)
Alti is the Financial AI built into the Alternative Payments partner portal. Nothing Alti proposes runs until the user approves it.
- Answers plain-language questions, such as "Who's over 30 days late?", from the customer's live account data.
- Proposes actions, such as sending a payment reminder or charging an invoice.
- Turns answers into scheduled reports, emailed at a time the user chooses.
- Diagnoses sync problems, such as why an invoice didn't sync from QuickBooks.
- Runs agents for specific workflows. The Collections Agent follows up on overdue invoices, the Integration Agent resolves sync issues, and the Failed Payments Agent finds why a payment failed and retries it.
Accounts Payable (coming soon)
Accounts Payable is coming soon. It will bring vendor bills, approvals, and payments into the same platform.
